Frank Thomas was one of the first baseball posters I owned. During the early 1990s baseball items such as this were hard to come across. He was call "The Hammer" then, which was changed to "The Big Hurt." Some injuries cost him probably two to three seasons all up. The strike shortened season of 1994 was particularly hard for Thomas, he was on track for an amazing year! I'm proud to say that I own his official rookie card, that's a keeper! Plus I have some signed items from him too. I didn't like seeing him in a Blue Jays Uniform. He would have looked fine in a Yankees pinstripes! He actually did in the film "Mr Baseball" if only that was for keeps!
