My, also laughable, picks:

AL East: Yankees, because we're the best

AL Central: I'll go Twinkies, not because of Mauer but because nobody's clearly beter in that horrible division.

AL West: Texas, same reason as you

Wild Card: Hmmm...Red Sox OUT, Seattle in. They could end up having a really good pitching Felix if Felix does even better than the mind-blowingly good he did this season. I think they'll improve their offense this offseason too. And the Red Sox offesne is only going to get worse, unless a big deal is made.

Nl East: Sorry, Phillies. Lee is too good, and I expect Hamels to have an above average year.

NL Central: Brewers, Carpenter will falter big and Wainwright won't be quite as good

NL West: SanFran Giants. That pitching staff has the potential to be mind-bogglingly awesome.

Wild Card: I want to say Pittsburgh Pirates...but alas, not yet Pittsburgh fans. Colorado Rockies, the second half of last year they were better than the Dodgers. Start just a tad better and they win that division.

ALDS: Yanks over Texs, Twins over Seattle

ALCS: Yanks over Twins

NLDS: SanFran over Philly
Colorado over Brewers

NLCS: Colorado over SanFran

World Series: Yanks over Colorado

AL MVP: Josh Hamilton, carries Texas

NL MVP: Chase Utley, carries Philly

AL Cy Young: CC Sabathia (BOOOOM)

NL Cy Young: Josh Johnson

It might be boring to keep picking him, but at this point the NL MVP has to be considered to be Pujols' award to lose.

Couple points--

1st) The entire point here is that these predictions aren't serious. Take 'em with a grain of salt.

That said, Howard is a major concern--his strike out rates keep going up and while Hamels and Lee are good, the rest of the rotation's a bit of a problem.

I'm a big fan of the Rangers' system and I like the pieces they have more than the Angles, injuries notwithstanding, and the Angels just lost Figgins.

At any rate, we'll know a lot more this time next month =)

If the Yankees would win and it would involve no Mariano Rivera blown saves because they make my heart hurt, I would be very, very, very pleased to see another epic, 7-game war, Yankees-Red Sox ALCS.

I really like these predictions (especially the Yankees winning the WS!), but I just have a few quibbles. First, I can't see anyone but the Angels winning the AL West right now. Texas was hounded by injuries but I don't think they would have pulled it out anyway. Though, if Lackey leaves the Angels... hmm.

Also...
"Wild Card: San Francisco Giants. Pitching’s too good."
Offense's (way) too bad. I can't see Philly missing the postseason as long as Utley, Howard, etc. are in their primes, and now they have a genuine ace in Lee. If Hamels and Lidge bounce back (HUGE ifs), they are terrifying. If not, well, they'll be close to the 2009 version of themselves, which was pret-tay darn good.
